She earned $1.50 per week or received the family’s left over meals as emolument. One morning, God gave Tarran a great idea–”Maid Service.” As she researched the business, she shared the idea with her mom. Her mom was amazed, it had been a desire of hers as a young woman. Now 73-years old, Tarran’s mom is the chairman and training specialist of their cleaning business.

Tarran Carter is the Founder of Ray of Light Central, ”Ray of Light Central, a teen enrichment, youth mentoring and counseling program that prepares students, ages 7-18 for college and to become entrepreneurs or obtain high-end positions.
Tarran is an Executive Pastor, who pastors along side of her husband,Sr. Pastor Leo Carter. She heads-up the Administration Department, additionally, the mentoring and counseling programs of Perfecting Praise Ministries, Long Island New York.
