Sound the Trumpet in 2012

“Drawn from the pit of despair”  The message is clear, God has commissioned His people–the warriors to stand on the wall and sound the trumpet for 2012.  This year, someone will be pulled up by their bootstraps from the pit of bondage, stress, anxiety, debt, abandonment, sickness, and disobedience.

There are two things I want to simply point out in this message. Either you were thrown into a bottomless and waterless pit, or you just fell in the pit.

Like Joseph, have you ever been thrown into a pit?  Were the enemy’s onslaughts so severe that you never saw the attack or plot?  The bottomless and waterless pit that I am referring too is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom.  Almost impossible to escape. This is the pit that Joseph, the son of Jacob experienced.  A Footnote–these pits can still be found in Palestine. It is a pit that is designed to kill you–it is a slow death.

Lets take a journey through the epic story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. We will then understand that waiting on God is essential and contrary to what our western society is teaching us today. Not waiting on God is the nemesis of depression; the entrance of oppression, and symptom of psychosis.

Joseph was thrown into a pit by envious and bitter brothers. Because Joseph dared to dream, his brothers envied him and plotted to kill him. The enemy counted Joseph out through trials and tribulation. However, he did not have the ability to stop the plan of God.

Before the foundations of the earth, God positioned Joseph to live in one of the most prominent houses in Egypt. He was pulled from the pit and placed in Potiphar’s house. Potiphar was Pharaohs secrete agent. He gave Joseph authority to handled all his affairs while living in his home.  Potiphar’s wife, Zuleekha, a well put together woman lost self-control when she looked upon Joseph. While Joseph was living in her home, she held a dinner and invited 40 of the most beautiful Egyptian women. According to the Koran, when they saw Joseph, they said with one accord that he was an angel.  On several occasions, the unscrupulous Zuleekha tried to seduce him.  Joseph was an audacious man and a man of integrity. We know this because Zuleekha was a beautiful women and Joseph was alone with her several times, but he feared God, and refused to have her, so he fled.

Because Joseph was falsely accused of violating Potphars’s wife, the sentence should have been death. Instead, he was placed in a dungeon. The message in this story is clear–Joseph never left God.  Actually, the word of God says, that throughout his suffering, God was with him. The bible says to resist the devil.  It also says that:

“there is no temptation that is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but God will with temptation make a way of escape that you are able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV).

This scripture is awesome! It exemplifies why there is no excuse to sin. God knows what we are able to bear in the flesh and will always make a way of escape in the very mist of the situation–even when your flesh is weak. The onus is on us to make an intelligent and conscious decision to flee the very appearance of sin. We have all been given the power by God to eschew sin.

For 20 years Joseph suffered, but God had positioned him to be lord over Egypt.  At the age of 39, Joseph was pulled from the dudgeon and was blessed to see his dream come into fruition. The anticlimactic ending of the devils plan was seen. Joseph believed his shall be–his dream. Although there was pain, he affirmed his sonship to God by walking in uninterrupted faith.

The climax was Joseph’s release of pain. His stentorian cry was known by Egypt. This was also the climax for his brothers and father–a release of deception and pain. God had already graced Joseph with efficacious grace and he never returned as we know back to a period of suffering, but was victorious.

That was Joseph’s story and maybe it is your story as well. You can pull yourself up through prayer and faith in God.  When Joseph was thrown into the pit, God knew that Joseph needed His assistance to be pulled out of the pit. Therefore, God made sure that there was someone to pull him out. God will do the same for us. When the angle of the Lord came to loose the chains off of Peter while he was in the jail, the angel told Peter to gird himself up so they could leave (Acts 12). This was a supernatural move of God due to the consistent prayer and faith that was exercise for Peter. There are angels to ensure that God’s plan for our lives are followed through.

Maybe your story is not exactly like Josephs’–you actually fell into the waterless pit.  Trust me, you are not alone, many have fallen into the pit of despair. Depression is palpable in the lives of our friends and family today. When we are drawn away by our lust, worlds philosophies, and ideologies, we can no longer see our way to peace and safety.  The enemy sets up the camouflage. He covers up the holes of folly. He also puts blinders on the eyes of his victims so they never see the onslaughts, legalism in our churches, and the false doctrines and prophets. Thereby, many will fall into a pit of psychosis.

It is very interesting, if we examine the battlefield of the mind and the thinking of today, many believe that God doesn’t move fast enough it seems. Think about technology–it has spoiled us.  Who can keep up with the latest technology. We tarry not to buy, only to find out in a few days, or months, what we made a fuss over is now obsolete. Who has bewitched us to think that if we don’t keep up then we are not blessed.  This is not true, it is a conundrum and also envelops psychoses.

God clearly tells us to wait and he will strengthen us. He  tells us not to get weary in well-doing.  He instructs us to be of good courage. God does not determine how blessed we are by the car we drive, or house we live in. We must not get it twisted, the earth, world, and everything that dwells in it belongs to Him. Our western culture has separated us and has made a clear distinction between what they call blessed: the upper class vs middle class, Main Street vs Wall Street, Liberal Party vs the Tea Party, etc.  But they forgot, that God has made clear distinctions and separations that will hold through the beginning and ending of time.  He has declared what is the wheat and the tear, goat and the sheep, believer and the heathen, heaven and hell.

It is important to understand that the spirit of psychosis has evaded our culture–it is so severe. It is a mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that it has lost contact with external reality. The gate of depression has allowed the person to literal fall into a pit of despair. They have forgotten their joy and reason for living. We must remind ourselves that the joy of the Lord is our strength. We can do all things that are in His will for us through God.

While standing on the wall, I must ask the question, is your dream still alive?  What have you done to activate them?

Faith and endurance is essential and paramount to overcome and live a victorious life in God.  Put on your armor—this is something we must do. Pick up the word of God.  The Lord will not put the bible in your hand, you must do this. Walk in the confidence that what God has said, He will do. Take on the spirit of certitude.

Join Me in prayer:

Lord this day, I pray for all reading this and have received this article. 2012 will be a year of blessings. Every onslaught is now bound by the spirit and power of God today. Every plot of the enemy, I declare be cancelled. This year may signs and wonders follow those that believe–miraculous power!  No Weapon formed against you shall be able to prosper.  We sift away every onslaught of the enemy in this pray–we winnow it away. His plots and plans are vetoed and blown away never to return again.  So it is, so shall it be done in Jesus’s name.

The Lord has given us the power of attorney to use His name with power and we do so today. Amen!

THE EARTH IS TILTING

The Earth Is Tilting:  Are We Living In the Last Days

My husband, pastor Leo Carter had a dream just the other day. He dreamed the earth was tilting on its axis. As the earth tilted, everything on the earth started to lean sideways–the trees and their branches, homes, etc. Was the earth coming to an end, I thought. The interesting part of this dream was that there was no mania–no trepidation, everyone went on with life as normal. Isn’t this what we are experiencing today?

According to the experts, coronal mass ejection is inevitable. Prophecy concerning end times are recorded in the bible. The book of Revelations also delineates the leading up to the  final outcome of this world.

I did ponder on this dream.  Additionally, God has been speaking. He is calling the church back to purity and righteousness. He wants to prosper His people. However, not everyone will live according to God’s ordnance.  Although God is magnified in the prosperity of His people, who will heed the call to salvation? We cannot purpose to run into sin, but rather eschew the very presence.

There is truly a blessing in serving God: He is the great I AM. He who created the universe give benefits that no business/company could ever give. God had a comprehensive plan that covers every aspect of our life.  In Him there is no lack.

This dream reminds me to stay in the presence of God. No one knows the hour or day that Jesus will return for His bride. I just know we have to be ready.  In serving Him, all signs are palpable, therefore, I we must stay alert and redeem the time. We cannot miss the mark of the High calling in Jesus Christ.

Feeling the Pulse of God

Grooving in God and connecting with His heartbeat

Every affliction is noteworthy, it propels me into destiny.

The scriptures are powerful. They encourage, and enlighten. Knowing them allows one to walk in authority. The word of God reveals every commandment, promise, and prophesy.  Who can fail if they believe the word of God?

We are not defeated; God delineates that through the scriptures. He has also provided us with the Holy Spirit and the Gift of the Spirit to assist us in our Christian walk. The gift of the Holy Spirit is paramount and given to each as God wills. They are to edify the church and will lead others to Christ.

I can command my day and decree that today, no matter what, is a good day! I can walk in my kingly anointing and pronounce the word of God over my life.  There is a scripture that lets us know, that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Though the trials come…we are an overcomer in Christ.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Be we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made magnifies in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worth in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and thereof have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many rebound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man isa renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worth for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the thing things which are seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:6-18 KJV)

IMBUED WITH THE ANOINTING OF ESTHER

Imbued with the anointing of Esther

The anointing of Esther gives you entrance into the chambers that you obtain efficacious grace–favor and blessings. It brings us before kings [hierarchy of governmental systems, rulings and policies] and doesn’t fail to bring all high things down. The enemy is subject to your spirit.

I am reminded of the days when I worked at a finance company on Long Island. I had left the company to focus on ministry. A year later I received a call and was asked by my former boss and CEO to come back and head-up their HR and training department. We agreed on my schedule and hourly wages. Not long after I was back working and doing what I love to do–training. Although we had an agreement, they failed to pay my agreed wages. The enemy did not want to loose what rightly belonged to me. His sardonic plot was to delay my appointed blessing.  God quickened my spirit to war in the spirit realm. He directed me to the anointing of Esther. After studying her position, I covered myself in prayer and asked the Lord to place upon me the anointing of Esther.

Soon after, I was released by the Holy Spirit to call the CEO and schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I made my way to his office. I noticed that the door was opened so I waited for my boss to grant me entrance. He greeted me as though I was a queen. He got up out of his high-black leather chair and walked around his cherry wood desk to extended his hand toward me. I was asked to sit next to him in one the two chairs that were appropriately placed in front of his desk.

Like a queen, I positioned myself. He ask the significant question, “what would you have me do.” This was awesome. I proceeded to inform him of the situation. Just before we finished the meeting, I had the certitude that the agreement to increase my wages would be expeditiously executed.

That was the first time I truly understood the power of the “Esther Anointing.”

The Book of Esther is a graphic narrative, which relates how God’s people were preserved from ruin during the fifth Century B.C. One of the purposes of this book and there are few, is to show how God destroys those who try to harm His people. From this, we are reminded that He s faithful to destroy Satan and that His sovereign purposes ultimately prevails.

Although Esther was given a charge. However, she gave up her right to live in order to save the nation from certain death. For this she was exalted by the King. It is important to understand that she could not go before the king unless she had clearance in the Holy Spirit, by prayer and fasting. Else, her portion would have been death (Esther 8:1-6). Although the Holy Spirit is not mentioned directly, it is His work that produced in both Esther and Mordecai the deep level of humility, leading to their mutual love and loyalty (see Romans 5:5).

Is There No Balm?

Balm in Gilead
The area of Gilead in Trajordan was an important source for spice and balm. There is no balm in Gilead that can cure the disease of sin, no physician tree that can restorer the health of a nation quite overrun by such foreign army as that of the Chaldeans. The desolation made was irreparable, and the disease had presently come to such a height that there is no checking it. Or this verse may be understood as laying all the blame of the incureableness of their disease upon themselves, and so the question must be answered affirmatively:

Is there a balm in Gilead: is there no physician there? why then is not health of the daughters of my people recovered? (Jeremiah 8:22, KJV)

I personally love this scripture. The first time I heard it was at Refuge Church of Christ, Freeport NY. I was a babe in Christ–a new convert. That Sunday morning my dear friend and co-worker, Tanya Carter, with a vociferous voice, released this scripture into the atmosphere. Instantaneously, a stentorian praise went forth in the sanctuary. The church went up and praise filled the temple.

Is there a balm in Gilead? A woman said after her review of my new book cover, “this looks heavy.” I am not sure if her preference was to read it after examining the cover or to place it on a shelf. Moreover, she is correct! The cover is conspicuous–it sends a message with the intent to address reality and elicit hidden fears, anxiety, and bring about healing.

The physician and physic were both ready, but the patient was wilful and irregular, would not be tied to rules. The blood of Christ is balm in Gilead, His spirit is the physician there, both sufficient, all-sufficient, so that they might have been healed, but would not.

It is amazing how God sets us up and presents the opportunity for healing. Weather it is a book, the Word of God, a sermon, or a messenger, I believe God does operate in the most simplest form of communication.
The blessing is when we are open to His choice of presentation–His time and place.

It’s time for recovery — this is what I hear Him saying. The things you have lost shall be found in Him.

This scripture must resonate.
“Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to and obey His commandments and keep all His statues, I will put non of these diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26, AMP)

Its time for your healing–it’s time to recover all.

He Lances the Boil to Heal

I was quickened in my sleep by the Holy Spirit last night with a message. Jesus came to lance the boils in your life. It is the infected wound of pain, abuse, and sin. Arise and shine, God has allowed these depleting and onerous areas to come to the surface. Hidden pain–abuse, and sin must come to the surface for the healing to take place. Once you expose sin, or

take accountability for sin, God begins the surgical process by lancing the infected area.

You may have put your trust in psychologist, clinicians and your medical doctor, but the best surgeon ever known is Jesus Christ. His surgical instruments cannot be duplicated and they don’t leave scar tissue.

God lances the boil so the healing process will begin, and often there is discomfort–this is the anointing of God. It is your experience with God, which gives you stock in the kingdom of God. You can rejoice for the efficacy of perfect healing–no surgical scars–no residue of your past, only liberty.

He Wont Leave You Hanging

In Him–The Work Will Not Go Unfinished

The Apostle Paul reminds us in the New Testament of Philippians 1:6 (AMP)

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who begun a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

I love the amplified version on this scripture. Faith mixed with works is powerful. Whatever God has willed in our lives  [commissioned, appointed, and justified],  He will see it through. Where there is a vision, there is provision. This is why we must acknowledge Him in all of our ways and He will direct our path.  And when God is in the deal, transaction, move–He is actively involved; there is no slackness in Him.

One of the greatest fears, is not being able see how all the pieces will come together. You cannot worry about who is not with you, where the money is coming from, or the credentials you don’t have. Stand in the certitude of His promise. I have even known God to change, policies, and codes just me.  The trying of your faith works patience in you–this is experience in God.

Moreover, He works a good work in us by molding us and perfecting that which concerns us. He has already established us, however, we must experience the seed process. This is the process of stripping us of every hinderance and replanting righteousness. And because we are a secrete to the unbeliever, until the appointed time, they underestimate our glory and destiny.  But God gives angles charge over us, and they keep us in all of our ways (Psalms 91).  How powerful is that. These angles are released to work on our behalf.  Although God doesn’t need any help, He has a backup team and He has granted us favorable.

Isn’t it amazing, that God always finishes what He starts, including His work in you. Our inheritance as believers can only be received fully by taking a stand on what God has said in the face of contradicting circumstances. The stance of faith eliminates all trepidation and worry and brings the freedom to rejoice evermore. True faith never says, “I cannot!” Such an utterance betrays unbelief.

Stand in hellacious faith – by your experience, someone needs to know that God’s Word still stands.

Cherish The Little Ones

It still rings in my ear, “Cherish the moments while they are still young.” Mom was right–so many indelible memories. The maturation process of child development is amazing. It is the processes of becoming mature–the attainment of emotional and intellectual maturity. During these precious stages; trust; autonomy, identity,  and coordination are developed.

Now that my daughters have blossomed into beautiful roses, I miss the days of nursery rhymes, and Chunky Cheese parties. From cuddly babies, to the days of elementary and high school, I never thought I would miss such precious times.

As a pastor and speaker, I have the pleasure of speaking to parents all the time. Quintessentially, they cannot wait for their children to grow-up and become independent. Mom and dad take a moment before speaking–you can never get these days back. Shopping for school supplies, holiday gatherings, school plays, and even their questions that make you say hmmm, are indelible memories. Cherish the laughs and the “what in the world are your doing?”

Don’t take it for granted, children are precious to God and He entrust us to handle them with special care. Objectively speaking, the wisdom of God always guides us into the most effective and appropriate way to nurture and guide our children.

  • Words are important. Speak life over your children. Make positive declarations of who they are. I am not referring to who they are now, but who they will become.
  • An Antiquated belief – “Do as I say and not as I do.”  This is a no-no.  Parents are the navigation system. Children have more respect when parents lead by example. It is no longer, “do as I say.” An explanation of why they should not do it will elicit rewarding results. Kids are humans who desire to engage discourse concerning the matter or concern.
  • Encourage your children everyday. Tell them they are wonderfully and uniquely made. They have promise and destiny within them and are called with a purpose.
  • Are children bad? When I was a little girl, I heard parents declare this over their children or other children quite often. Boys and girls are not bad, maybe curious, or rebellious.
  • Remember, words are powerful. The powerful book of  James in the Bible [A book that calls for ethical lving based on the gospel] talks about this. Life and death is in the power of the tongue.
  • Discipline with the wisdom of God. Every child is different and has different personalities. God gave me a strategy for disciplining my two girls. Sending my oldest daughter to her room was not effective, she loved being in her room and reading book. However, my youngest daughter did not care much for being secluded in a room by herself. It is not favor but giving each child what they deserve.
  • Open their horizons and expose them to the world – go on vacations, whatever their dreams, get them involved with the education of their interest at an early age.
  • Teach them the importance of chores, this teaches responsibility.
  • Don’t forget about reading time. We live in the aggressive error of technology and make no mistake, our reading levels have dropped drastically. Encourage your children to read at a higher level. Find literature that will interest and challenge them.

I loved writing this post; thank God I listen to mom and didn’t take the moments for granted.  Thank you girls… this journey has been wonderful.

Perfect Wedding Dress

Are you planning for your wedding?

Get Ready-Get Read-Ladies

June followed by August is the most active month for weddings. In reviewing the report from The National Associations of Wedding Ministers-Wedding Statistics, I am glad to see that the Church still rates as one of the highest in percent of where most weddings are held. My retort is  because marriage was the first institution that God established–it is spiritual. Moreover, destination weddings have become the choice location. Although Las Vegas is reported to have 100,000 weddings yearly and Hawaii 25,000 yearly, the Caribbean at 34 percent seems to be the place for a blissful ceremony. As far as the states, Hawaii comes in at 33 percent yearly, which is slightly higher than the Bahamas at 20 percent.

Even if you don’t have a proposal in the wings, but your desire is to get married, prepare for it (spiritually and financially). It’s okay to look at dresses and it is okay to know what you want.

In the interim, don’t settle, and don’t give away your pearls–that’s you–your being. He must first qualify for such beauty and value.  Too many times we never become the bride, but continue in a deadened relationship as the peradventure girlfriend–do not move too fast. Ladies, you give your hear, but that does not mean he loves you. Just because he bought you roses or told you he loves you, doesn’t mean he loves you or has the capacity to be your husband.  He can have sex and still not be emotionally attached.

Numbers are high; there are women who have never experienced a mere moment of conversation after sex. And that’s all she wants is conversation. Instead, he turned over, picked up the cell, got dressed and left. What’s that all about?  You gave your heart, you made it intimate, and you called it love. In his heart–he never did.

Statistics do show the ratio of women to men. That is the general and fundamental facts, However, God has truth and promise for you. It is imperative, you walk upright, obtain certitude, and be of an undubious spirit. Hellacious faith must kick in, without wavering, know that God promised in his Word that He would not withhold any good thing from you.  (Psalms 84:11) He also says, that He would rather you marry than be consumed with internal fire because of passion. (1 Corinthians 7:9)

What does this mean, seek the Lords for guidance, prepare to be the wife, heal from all previous baggage, walk in love and righteousness. Remember, if you don’t get healed from past relationship, you still bring all of your past relationship to bed with you… they are between your sheets.

Do Not Push The Rewind Button

Stop pushing the rewind button of self-abuse. Did you know that women who have typically suffered some form of abuse, most in general, abuse themselves or others.

Healing is essential for you to move forward. Understand, everyone will experience an event in their life, i.e tribulation, peril, distress, abandonment, sword, poverty, death, etc. Romans 8:35 does provoke much thought: Why was emphases put on this scripture? Because, all will experience something. Christian or non-Christian–you are not exempt.

Consequently, we can never let the issues of life hinder or prevent us from moving forward. God refines us and purges us for His Glory. It is called the processing of God. Important, God does not engender abuse, there is another force on this earth and that is Satan and his cohorts. However, disobedience of God’s will open doors and bring unwanted trials.

Today, lets make a decision to no longer push this red tormenting button. Every push activates a moratorium (pause) on your healing, releasing missiles of mass destruction against you and your destiny. We can no longer operate, and make decision contingent on our past. Make no mistake, I am not referring to muted senses. With certitude, I am referring to the Word of God that will enable us to superimpose every attack of the enemy. It will strengthen you to think only on pure and good things.

You have the capability in God to capture every vain imagination and thought from the enemy. In prayer and obedience to the Word of God, we breakup the fallow ground, which allows us to uproot antiquated thinking, unconscionable and unscrupulous mindsets. Bring each into the obedience of Christ Jesus. Now build the impervious wall and close the gateway to your mind.

Let this mind be in me that is also in Christ Jesus. Regardless of what the enemy speaks, what does the Word of God say. You are the apple of God’s eye. You are His elect, You are the head and not the tail. No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Be Able To Prosper.

The prophetic flow in leadership propels you far past the norm. It is an anointing that allows your hands to operate and receive in the prophetic flow..whatever you touch is blessed [turns into prophetic gold].

An honourable ambition is honorable. This ambition is not for self-glory or narcissistic character. It is an ambitions that is contingent on the will of God and the services to God.
Such anointing, as you lead, you achieve–it is to go far above what you could think or ask. It is a higher thinking.

This anointing propels you to places that are destined for your life. It opens portals of blessings–divine connections. You roam where the kings roam. It indeed, gives you power to get wealth. Moreover, it squelches procrastination and binds the limbo demon, the hybrid demon. Again, this anointing leads you beyond hope to faith. Remember Abraham, he believed beyond hope for the covenant blessing.

Should you then seek great things for yourself.. (Jeremiah 45:5) Most Christians have reservations about aspiring to leadership. Has not ambition caused the downfall of numerous, otherwise great leaders in the church! These are people who fell victim to authoritative ambition.

Shakespeare expressed a profound truth when his character Wolsey said to him the English general ” Cromwell, I charge thee, fling away ambition, By that sin fell the angels – how can a man then, The image of his maker, hope to profit”

No doubt ,Christians must resist a certain kind of ambition and rid it from their life. But also acknowledge that other ambitions are noble and honourable. God never taught against the urge to a high achiever, but He did expose and condemn uncouth motivation. Ambition which centers on the glory of God and welfare of the church is a mighty force for good.

The word Ambition comes from the Latin word meaning ‘Champaign for promotion” – It suggesting a variety of elements:

  • Social Viability
  • Approval
  • Popularity
  • Peer Recognition
  • The exercise of Authority
  • Over others

This is why we understand that ambition is not always vision. Ambitious people in this sense enjoy power that comes with money, prestige, and authority. Jesus had no time for such ego driven ambition. The true spiritual believer will never “campaign for promotion.”
However, they will aspire to lead like Moses, Paul, Joseph…

Tips:
Leaders always pray and have vision…for without a vision the people perish. Prayer is essential and paramount to hear the voice of the Lord concerning every decision.

Leaders do not procrastinate – procrastination is the thief of time. It is one of the devil’s most potent weapon of defrauding us of eternal heritage. The habit of putting things off is fatal in leadership. We do have the power to come to grips with what is important. God will give organizational skills.

Leaders Read 1 Timothy 4:13 “till I come give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” Reading maketh a full man; Speaking, a readily man, witting an exact manner. Spiritual leaders of every generation will have a consuming passion to know the Word of God through diligent study and the illumination of the Holy Spirit. A man is known by the company he keeps, also his character, is reflected in the books he reads. A leaders reading is the outward expression of his inner aspirations. A Leader should immerse himself in books that equipped him for higher service and leadership in the kingdom of God. By reading we learn. By meditating in the themes of our reading we pluck fruit from the trees of the book and add nourishment to our mind and our ministry. Unless our reading includes serious thinking it is waited time.

Master the books you read. When you read, three-readings will pour substance and the book will then make a solid imprint in your memory:  3-steps

  1. reading should be a rapid pace
  2. then read again and take notes
  3. last reading should be a rapid reading

Great leaders are measured in part by time–each minute is a gift from God. Minutes and hours that are used translate into abundant life. Leisure is a glorious opportunity and a subtle danger. A discretionar hour can be wisely invested or foolishly waisted. Hours and days will surely pass but we can direct the purpose and productivity. Moses knew time was valuable and prayed to be taught to measure his days, not by years Psalms 90:12. If we are careful about days, the years will take care of themselves.

One last point, leaders listen… listen to the entire comment or remark, before you respond.

The word “love” is mentioned over 700 times in the King James Bible alone.

Love covers all sins (Proverbs 10:12). Love teaches and enables tenacity in relationships. It locks in security and tranquilly while it preserves life.

Where there is no love, there is broken pieces of heart–no peace or joy and one becomes malign in relationship and injurious in nature.  An injurious women is dangerous and infectious.  However, the love of God and His healing from these symptoms of self-destruction will bring peace.

YOU must change your thinking. New thinking is revolutionary thinking.  You must capture every vain thought of the enemy and bring it into the mind of Christ.  (2 Corinthians 10:3-7). Joshua 1:8 talks about meditating on the Word of God. When we meditate we must not let it depart from our heart.  Our heart is our mind–the center of our being.

Romans 12:1-2 tells us not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. This is a total transformation from fear to hope and joy. There must be metamorphosis that happens. This is a change of physical form, structure, or substance especially by supernatural means.

When we sow the Word of God in our mind, our soul (will, emotion, and mind) will be saved and the Word of God is ingrafted into our hearts. We then think like God, react like God, conduct ourselves like God. By doing this we sit and live in heavenly places. Therefore, there are no limits on what God can and will do. Living in the will of God is the safest place, and all things in His will  become ours:  love, peace, joy, hope, wealth, health, prosperity, posterity…

Love is the anchor in our relationships, it reminds us of forgiveness. Think Love and then walk in Love… think blessings and then walk in blessings. Let this mind also be in you that is in Christ Jesus.

We, today, declare there is an impervious wall around us, this protects us from the thoughts of depression and the mediation of despair. No matter what the enemy does, we are blessed with equanimity as we squelch every plot and attack of the enemy.

I decree: Love shall abide in our heart and mind forever. Pray the will of God in your life. Matthew 6:1-13

What Are The Requirements For Godparents?

After archaic traditions and beliefs of godparents, I do have questions:

  • Should there be a trepidation to choose the correct person to god parent your children?
  • How many godchildren have a relationship with their godparent?
  • What are the characteristics of godparents?
  • What is the purpose for godparents?

Antiquated thinking is still the mindset concerning the purpose and characteristics of godparents.

When choosing godparents, there is much to consider: The godparents don’t necessarily need to be your best friend, nor the person that is most likely to buy the most gifts and clothes. On the contrary, the godparents should have a sound mind and able to give spiritually guidance to your son/daughter. Psalms 1. The concern should be the relationship between the godparents and children. Example: Will the godparents lead and guide in a Christ like manner? If something should happen to you, will they willing be responsible to assist where ever needed in regards to the children?

Godparents must lead by example, they should never let the children see them do anything that they don’t want  them to do. They should have the child’s best interest and respect the beliefs and vision of the family.

These questions do provoke thought and they should.  Parenting is spiritual.  Let God lead and guide you.

My Footsteps Are Guided By The Lord

When God exposes you to something, He leads you toward it.

My trip to London was nothing more than delectable. I attended CEO, Dionne Lamont’s first fashion show (PharezNow Design), Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby, Piccadilly Circus, and other well-known historical sites. I rode the tub (first class) and ate some good Italian food.

All of you coffee lovers, McDonald’s white coffee was pretty good. I actually survived without drinking a tall Starbucks’ coffee.

After some British 101, I am cognizant not to say pants, unless I mean panties. I am also aware that suspenders make reference to the straps/clamps that hold up a women’s garter.

When God exposes you to such grander, He leads you. My trip was awesome. I visited Pastor Dionne Lamont’s church, and after, I had a home cooked meal. From Zürich Switzerland, I flew business class back to New York. I thought, “This is the way to do it.” I reclined into my bed after eating my hors d’oeuvre, main course, chocolate moose, ice cream, and swiss chocolate.

The new testament Paul said he became all things that he may minister to people from different regions and ethnicities.

Although my trip was pleasurable, it was educational as well. Example, the list of parallels between New York and London has always been long. Some say the two have more in common than any other international cities on the planet, making them both allies and, increasingly, competitors in the global economy.

In the past few years, both have been terrorist targets, competed for the 2012 Olympics (London won), and passed smoking bans for bars, pubs, and restaurants. London’s ban, which is modeled after New York’s, is scheduled to go.

Academics, financial analysts, restaurateurs, art gallery owners, architects, and people who’ve lived in both cities say while London is still blatantly British in personality, its finance, restaurant, and art industries look more like New York’s now than they did five to 10 years. Other parallels:

  • Gherkin Building – architect, Lord Norman Foster. London
  • Hearst Building – architect, Lord Norman Foster. New York
  • Tate Modern to receive 397 million for expansion
  • Museum of Modern Art just underwent 425 million renovation
  • Population 7.43 million – London
  • Population 8 million – New York
  • Terrorist attack July 7 2005 London underground.
  • Terrorist attack September 11 2001 World Trade Center
  • The Tube
  • The Subway. Compatible hours

Well, I am scheduled to teach back in the UK, January 2011, for a leadership conference. I am honored and looking forward to it. I already have a special love for London and have decided that Paris will be my next stop. I am excited that my hubby and I will be taking this trip together. God does guide your footsteps. He is my source, He is my compass…He is Lord!

Still In Love

Still in love and the fire still burns.

The question has been, “After several years of marriage, will I ever feel butterflies in my stomach again?” The butterflies may have ceased, however, you can experience the passion of love as you once did when you first fell in love with your husband. The pulse of love can echo in the atmosphere as your heart is overwhelmed with bliss.

Still in love with each other, however, my husband proposed to me again after 27-years of marriage. We went on a date and as we drove to our destination, he played our wedding song that I proposed to him 27 years ago and the song he proposed to me “A Ribbon In The Sky.” see below.

Unbeknownst to me, we were on or way to the first apartment we lived in; Flushing, NY.  As romantic as he is…he pulled up in front of the building.  He then got out of the car and asked me to come with him.  He took my hand and kneeled on one knee in front of the building. While pulling out the ring box and putting bling–bling on my finger, he said, “I love you Tee.”

As many watched, I was in awe…totally not prepared, I said, “Yes baby, I’ll do it all again.” Sanford Avenue was our old stomping ground and many were out on the street that late afternoon. Several stopped to witness two people redo their vows. My husband was so proud and happy that he began to tell everyone who could hear that we have been married for 27 years. As the evening progressed, it was as though we had fallen in love again.

God knows how to do it. Our love has gone to a whole new level. The days of tackling me as though he was on the football field are here to stay.  Have there been trials? Yes, but the devil failed. What God put together, can’t no man — no woman put under.  My prayers have been my strength.  What I have witnessed is efficacious grace.

Antiquated prayers have no power, but through the Holy Spirit, your prayers are directed to know what areas in your marriage to pray for.

I have received many request to pray for marriages.  My claim to victory is faith in God. Once you believe that through relationship with God, it is already a fixed fight.  Voodoo, hex, or any spell cannot usurp or superimpose the power of God.  If you believe with your mind and heart, the devil has to release your husband.  Every curse and hex is broken and miracles are released in the atmosphere.

My prayer is for every marriage to prosper.  We are living in an era that our young women today are not concerned about just getting the sex, but the mission is stealing the heart. A unscrupules mindset concerning the conquer of a married man is acceptable. This is why so many men can walk away from their marriages and family to start a new relationship. It’s deeper than the sex…it’s about conquer and command.

Well, I am here to tell you, with God and His power that He has bestowed in you, it cannot work. Be led by the Holy Spirit my friend, and it will lead you into all truth and give guidance on your next step to overcome the enemy’s egregious plot and attack.  God has ordained marriage. It was the first governmental estate and system; therefore, God is with you and will not abandon His promise or abort His mission.

A Spiritual Makeover

The most difficult thing for women in pain to do is to remove the mask and reveal whom they are or what they are going through. I am convinced that many Christian women manage and operate with two-faces while functioning in their day-to-day lives. They have mastered the art of covering up pain while exhausting every effort to keep the real person in seclusion. I am also convinced that the spirit of depression and schizophrenia is prevalent among Christian women and can be seen in the Kingdom of God.

Conversely, the joy of the Lord must rise up within us–it is our strength. We have heard that nothing is too hard for God. However, if we don’t believe the scriptures, then it is only a colloquialism and or cliché that has no power. We must believe with our heart that depression is not our portion and it has no place in the Kingdom of God. This spirit must be loosed off God’s people and cast out of the region.

God does allow tests and tribulations as he did with Job. Furthermore, if we are servants of the most high God, the devil must get permission from God to temp and or inflict, but like Job, we have already been established victorious. Therefore, God allows the attack, which gives you your own testimony. Remember, the greater the test, the greater the testimony.

God does want to bless us. Mark 10:29 talks about the blessings in this day. You are in line for a spiritual makeover. Quintessentially, we pretend we have it all together–no problems–no issues. There is no need for the charade. Everyone, at some point in his or her life has experienced things that he or she wished was a dream.

The goal is to respond with the faith of God. In your season of testing and tribulation, worship the Lord–this is where the Glory of the Lord is revealed. Worship is not external but internal. Some attest to attending a worship services or that they have had a worship experience, but have never entered into the humbling place of submission and relationship–a spiritual experience with God. To worship God, is to allow Him to be Lord in your life. You desire and thirst to know Him for who He is and not what He can give.

Worship changes your spiritual makeup and propels you into a place of victory. You no longer pretend you have it altogether, but you allow God to bring it together. You allow Him be your source, redeemer, restorer, counselor, and companion. Moreover, in Him, nothing becomes impossible and you no longer look like where you came from.

What’s more, worship brings you into a place of healing, allowing you to eventually talk about the pain. Through your experience with God, you learn and understand that you have gained stock in the Kingdom of God, you are aware that what the enemy meant of evil, God turned into good. The same tools the enemy tried to destroy you with, you use them to minister to others so they are also healed.

Your spiritual makeup allows you to be free and function in who God made you to be. Not only are you free, but you are delivered from your past and the pain. Your finest makeup could never cover up the imperfections as the Glory of God will do.

Position yourself blessed in 2010

Just when you think it is too late, God’s timing is perfect. It is the highest achievement of synchronization—a flawless union of time and action. God’s grace asserts power over time and space creating a divine appointment. Just when it appears that all has failed, all is in your favor. It is unmerited, undeserved, and unearned favor– a critical juncture where God’s time, interrupts, chronological time–placing you in the right place at the right time.

The book of Isaiah 55: 8-11 (KJV) tells us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways…”

God is the greatest strategist ever known—He allows Satan to design the assignment of attack and while Satan’s cohorts are in position to carry out the plan of attack, God has already determined the outcome—mission failed. We have already been established blessed! Our part is to appropriate God’s Word by mixing it with faith and position ourselves to receive:

Expectation: Think on good things–to anticipate change is powerful. God calls things that are not, according to our perspective, into existence and He has declared what is yet to take place–yet has already happened. Therefore, we are already established in every area of our life. Make the decision to be blessed–walk in expectation. Pronounce the blessings of the Lord over your life—financially– physically–spiritually, and declare that they shall come into fruition at the appointed time.

Gird Up: There may be some tests in 2010. Fear not the test; each will produce testimonies and fulfillment—revelation and completion. Build yourself up in your most Holy faith and prohibit fiery darts from penetrating your shield. Fiery darts are combustible missiles designed to weaken your faith. They are suggestive proclamations: I can’t–It’s impossible–I don’t qualify, etc. Replace these negative thoughts and statements with positive declarations.

  • Dress for the battle. Declare you are prosperous–spiritually and physically by putting on the armor of God: the Helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, sash of truth, brazen boots, and sword of the Spirit. The armor associated with prayer will repel the attacks of the enemy (Ephesians 6:13-18). Disavow and veto every ill spoken word against you–derogatory declarations cannot penetrate or take root in the atmosphere or in your life: No evil shall befall you and no plague–sickness or diseases– shall come into your dwelling (Psalms 91).

Turn the Page: Old things are passed away and all things become new today. Forgive and live. Thank God for every shut and/or open door. Thank Him for the man or woman who walked out or into your life. Thank God for every denial. Start afresh–start anew. Don’t waste time and energy trying it prove or impress those who hurt or rejected you. Don’t cry over the past. Instead, be tenacious and allow God to propel you into your destiny.

  • Change permits opportunity. Try something new. Antiquated thinking affects ambition–your goals and vision. Typically, our environment shapes our thinking and either propels us forward or impels us backward. Come out of your comfort zone and don’t be afraid of the scenic route–a new way of doing things. Although, it may take a minute for you to become acclimated, this could be the conduit to success and bring your ideas to life. If you’ve dreamed about starting a business or a new project, why not take the steps to make it happen.

Transformation: We cannot leave this step out. Our minds must be transformed into the mind of Christ.

“That we may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breath, length, depth, and height. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all of the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:18, 19 KJV)

To comprehend is to grasp and understand. This scripture speaks of a broader mindset—thinking larger and searching the depths of God and His Word. Being filled with the fullness of God activates 20/20 vision in the spirit realm. We no longer react to what our natural eyes and ears see or hear. The Word of God is quickened in our spirit and even in prayer, we are able to hit our target and not pray amiss. Transformation of the mind revolutionizes our thinking, broadens our understanding. As we draw closer to God–synchronized to His will, the wisdom of God governs our decisions.

Take Courage - Dare to walk into the blessings of God. “Surely, blessings I will bless thee, multiplying, I will multiply thee” (Hebrews 6:14 KJV). The enemy stands in the doorway of success. Nonetheless, when we take courage, his covert schemes are overthrown by the power of God.

  • Prompted by faith allows us to go beyond the normal decree and look to the supernatural power of God to protect the vision and promise in our lives. Moses, after birth, was kept concealed by his parents for three months because they saw how comely the child was. They were not terrified by the king’s decree, but hid the baby Moses. You are hid with Christ; concealed from the plots of the enemy. Challenge prompts us to step out on faith and to move forward (Hebrews 11:23).
  •  Aroused by faith is growing into maturity. Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh. He chose to experience the blessing of God rather than the fleeting gifts of the enemy. When we choose to serve other gods, we reject the Word of God and are no longer children of the Lord, but are sons and daughters of the devil. When we are aroused by faith, we stand for Jesus (Hebrews 11:24).
  • Motivated by faith will not let you look back, but instead, propel you toward your destiny. Moses left Egypt and all of his possessions behind. He walked out of sin and told the devil to keep his stuff. Motivated faith allows you to walk out of sin–leave a man you can see, for Jesus, who you cannot see (Hebrew 11:27).

IS FORGIVING FORGETTING: Part II

I am also frequently asked, “Is forgiving forgetting?” Forgiveness is not always forgetting. I still remember some things from past, even though forgiveness has taken place. We have been taught that in order for you to truly forgive someone, you must force yourself not to remember what the person did to you. Forgiveness is not in the forgetting; it is in being free with a spirit of liberty. The grace of God gives us strength to forgive, but this can only be done through Jesus, who forgave us (Luke 23:34, Colossians 1:14).

It is an act of releasing another from an offense—refusing to enact the penalty due to him or her. Forgiving is refusing to let the offense affect the relationship. You move forward as though it never happened. Such forgiveness releases one from a sense of unresolved guilt, restores a clear conscience, and restores a relationship.

To forgive is to grant favor—to show kindness unconditionally. The Greek translation is charis; the root word is grace. Forgiveness is a choice to which you commit; you no longer hold the offense against the person. Though my offender has passed away, forgiveness allows me to remember him and his offenses free from anger or grief and with compassion. I now think of a man who was used by the enemy in a most noxious way, who needed deliverance from spiritual wickedness in a high place.

You Have to Go to the Next Level

If there is no forgiveness, we cannot go to the next level, and God cannot forgive us of our sins. God cannot go against his own Word. Matthew 6:16 says, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive your trespasses, But if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will you Father forgive your trespasses” (NIV).

This is another reason why we forgive; it is one of the most important. Imagine God not forgiving you of your sins and transgressions. Imagine if there was no grace to cover you. We could never make it to heaven. The carnal man would desire us to retaliate against our offenders and take matters in our own hands.

God avenges us against our enemies; He takes it personally. Our enemies are His enemies. He reminds them to call on the gods who have led them into the path of darkness. Here, God makes make it clear to Israel that there was no other God except Himself. He also tells them to rejoice in the trespasses; God will avenge the blood of His people—you and me. When we are hurt, God is hurt.

When Intimacy is Interrupted

Has  intimacy between you and a friend, love one, or spouse ever been breached?

In this discussion I will generalize the effects of shattered intimacy concerning friendship. Further discourse on this subject could range from mental, sexual, financial, and emotional. We will save that for another time. Intimacy is closeness, familiarity, warmness, and affection.  Humans have an innate need to form intimate and long-lasting relationships. intimacy includes the ability to assume one needs just as important as your own. If  this is interrupted, the communion is broken: friendship and trust is jeopardized, companionship is disrupted, comradeship is faltered, and alliance is waivered.  The Lord is intimate with His children. Worship is intimate and culminates into a covenant relationship with God.  James 2:23 tells us that the Lord calls us friend. Intimacy of a friend is displayed in the Old Testament 1 Samuel.

1 Samuel 18:1- 4 KJV  “And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David , and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Saul took him that day, would let him go no more home to his father’s house. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the rove that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.”

Although Saul, because of jealousy and envy breached the intimacy, his son Jonathan refused to alienate his relationship with David. Jonathan would not allow his relationship with David to be breached. He loved David and became his adjutant. Here in the same chapter, Saul was influenced by the enemy. Verse 9 says that he eyed David from that day and forward. He made 21 attempts to kill David before he was killed himself.  Isn’t  it amazing what jealousy will manifest in the heart?

In addition to jealousy, trauma (physical/emotional), addiction, self-esteem, and infidelity all contribute to pain. And pain disturbs intimacy. When you have been hit a couple of times, it is hard to smile over pain and act as though it doesn’t hurt. A gut-punch can take your breath away and knock you off of your feet.  I would like to know who is like the Bozo Bob Bag? You know the bean bag from the 70-/80s–every time someone hits the bag, it pops back up, and the harder it is hit, the faster it pops back.  It takes faith and tenacity to grin over pain.

David prayed to God in Psalm 55:12-14. This scripture represents one of the deepest hurts in betrayal by a seemingly spiritual companion.  Ahithophel  (2 Samuel  15: 12, 31; 16:23). David’s son Absalom committed treason and revolted against his father. Ahithopel, the brother of folly instigated it. Just like David, Joseph and other Old Testament greats, although painful, the faith of God will carry us through painful circumstances.

Moreover, when loyalty is breached in a marriage the rib is broken. The rib represents the union between husband and wife; it is quite difficult to breath with a broken rib. Discord opens doors for disharmony and spiritual death. When harmony is interrupted, the fibers of the union are damaged. Although desire can return, the healing and forgiveness process will take time.  Some have difficulty overcoming such transgression; thereby, divorce is inevitable.  Conversely, if we could allow forgiveness to truly be our portion, more marriages would survive and overcome such betrayal.

Nevertheless, despite the breach, you can overcome and live a life of tranquility.  Whether you are the victor or the victim, forgive, so that the enemy will no longer have power over you—release the victim and victor.  Satan who is an accuser of the brethren will never get a chance to claim you as arrested psychological development (refusing to grow in God), but you shall move forward in the synchronized shift of the Lord.

Access Had Been Made For You – Walk Into Your Blessings

Thus says the Lord to His anointed. To Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and loose the lions  of kings, To open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;  I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze, And cut in sunder the bars of iron. I will give thee the treasures of darkness.” Isaiah 45:1-3

Chapter 45 is a continuation from chapter 42, 43, and 44.  God made the Israelites a promise to redeem them out of captivity.  God also spoke to their idolatry and worshiping of graven images.  If we think about it, it makes no sense to worship and put our trust in anything that man has created. Man is greater than anything than his creation. How can it possibly tell the former or deliver.  So why would we worship anything we carry in a purse, hang-up, etc?

Although their sin led to their judgment, God speaks a prophetic word 107 years before he delivers. He even named Cyrus as the vessel He is going to use to perform the second exodus to deliver His people.  This prophecy that Isaiah spoke was inconceivable for the Israelites. They had lost everything and could not see restoration. God continued to remind them that He formed them and he was going to gather the remnant to bless them.

The gates that are shut in your life are getting ready to swing open. The enemy held some things up, but no longer. Where the gate was shut, it is now open.

Cyrus is used as God’s instrument. Belshazzar Nebuchadnezzar’s son had a feast for months and took the Israelites for granted.  While he tasted the wine, Belshazzar gave command to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple, which had been taken in Jerusalem that the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines might drink from them.  Daniel 5:1-4.  On that very night Cyrus the Persian King defeats Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans. Daniel 5:30. This was a response to Belshazzar’s irreverent use of God’s holy vessels; a warning that whatever God has sanctified is not to be profaned.

Let’s get a visual so we can go a little deeper. Belshazzar felt so secure against the city that he ordered this great feast for months.  Babylon was impregnable against its enemy.  The ancient Babylon sat on the River Euphrates. The walls that were 300 feet high and 80 feet thick encircled the city – 15 square miles – the outer wall demotes the River Euphrates flowing through the mists of the city. The big white thorough fairs went from one end of the city to the other side blocking it off into a 15 major square mile area.   Where the River Euphrates flowed through, they built walls along the upper bands and made 15 major interceptions and bridges to cross the river. They had great gates in the wall that they would open up during the day on the concourse for the people in the streets of Babylon, but at night they would shut and securely bar on the gates.

Now when Cyrus came with the Persian army and began his siege they realized that they could not assault the great wall – 300 feet high.  So he developed a great scheme – building diversion channels in the river. Cyrus actually diverted the flow of the Euphrates and “the river sank to such an extent that the natural bed of the stream became fordable.” Thus, during the night, enemy went under the walls. The soldiers marched along the riverbed and entered the city through gates that had been carelessly left open. “Had the Babylonians been apprised of what Cyrus was about, they would have made fast all the street-gates which [were] upon the river… But, as it was, the Persians came upon them by surprise and so took the city.” Actually, the Babylonians were involved in drunken revelry, as the Bible explains. (Daniel 5: 1-4, 30) Both Isaiah and Jeremiah foretold that Babylon would eventually become uninhabited ruins. And that is what happened. Today Babylon is a desolate heap of mounds.—-Isaiah 13:20-22; Jeremiah 51:37, 41-43.

This is what God is doing for the remnant today; the gate is open.  Walk into the blessings. You cannot be held back. You shall not accept any substitutes or any delays. The Lord says to forget the former. He has made you and is doing a new thing.  You have been through the flood and fire, but it has not overtaken you.  The Gate has been left open for you. The iron and brass has been destroyed.  Doors of opportunity have swung open. God is setting up divine connections and the portals of blessing are open.  God has make way for them to find you.

Day 1 – LOOSE ME AND LET ME GO

I went to bed after 12 AM with severe abdominal pain. I woke up this morning and everything was spinning. My synopsis: God is going to do something awesome in this consecration. Whenever the enemy tries to stop you in the beginning; he doesn’t want it to go forward. Today I pronounce one accord, one mind, and one purpose. The gates of hell shall not prevail, but the power of God shall be manifested. I come against wickedness in high places, rulers of darkness, and powers. I command the enemy powerless. You now become a part of Jesus footstool for the women of God are blessed and we are victorious. Amen.

Loose Me and Let Me Go
The devil tries to hold us captive to our past, relationships, sickness, and antiquated thinking. The book of Luke 13:11-13 talks about a woman that had an infirmity for 18-years. She was bound by a spirit (demon of sickness). The Bible says that she was completely bent over and unable to straighten herself up or to look forward.
Infirmity is lack of strength, disease, weakness, and feeble body. This woman was crippled and not straighten up. That means it was very difficult for her to see what was directly in front of her. Infirmity affects how we understand a thing; it prevents one from doing great and glorious things, it restrains and corrupts desires, and makes it difficult to bear trials and troubles.

When there are obscurities and restrictions such as the women with the infirmity, our future doesn’t come into focus. It becomes hard for us to see our “shall-be” and we lose focus of who Jesus is. Many times when the physiological is affected so is the psychological.

Has anything held you back, has destiny just been a dream not reality? Could it be?
An old relationship
You were told what you could ’t be
Illness
Procrastination
covetousness
Low self-esteem
Rejection/Depression/Loneliness
Antiquated thinking/Antiquated prayers

Command the devil to loose his hold. Now move on…God does have an expected end and it is glorious—there is wonderful blessing here on earth. You don’t have to wait for heaven to receive them.
“Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5.
After suffering for 18-years (18-new beginnings) the woman came into the presence of Jesus. During this consecration – focus on Jesus and desire to come closer. Just like the woman came into the presence of Jesus, push through all the pain and agony that you may enter into the presence of Him who delivers and heals. To be in His presence is fullness of Joy.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
In our prayer let’s decree “Transformation” that we have a new way of thinking:
Old things are pasted away and behold all things become new today. Decree that you will live out your next 365 days of ingenuity, blessings, and boldness in the spirit and mind. The devil has been commanded to loose his hold off of our minds, family, love ones, possessions, ministries, and finances. AMEN!
