We are firm believers that the precise understanding of God’s Word is the gateway to change in people’s lives. From family, education, to walking in divine health; Perfecting Praise Ministries is committed to equipping people all over the world with the knowledge and wisdom needed to make decisions that will positively impact their futures.

Witnessing a change in the lives of people is the ultimate goal of Pastors Leo and Tarran Carter. With love and compassion, they both serve as leaders to accomplish this goal. Pastors Leo and Tarran Carter believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Their unique style of leadership has drawn many to the ministry. Because of their hands-on and applicable approach, many come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ. While teaching the Word of God with simplicity for application, they invoke change in the lives of the people they serve.

It is a proven fact that polished manners can generate a good image for students in their school environment, personal life and future business relationships. Littles Jewels Etiquette program for teenagers and young adults will provide them with the tools they need to be successful.

Social skills are the great equalizer; good social skills transcend social class, economic status, achievement and race. Studies at Harvard, Standard Research Insititute, and the Carneigie Foundation, support this statement, finding that 85% of future success depends on social skills.

THE LITTLE JEWELS “Enrichment Training Program for Success and Leadership”  has been developed to give teens  the knowledge, skills and values they need to deal effectively with the demands of their everyday lives, and to successfully adapt to an increasingly complex global community. Our program challenges and empowers students by providing them with the confidence, motivation, and enthusiasm necessary to impact their own lives and the lives around them.

Male Youth Program -  Male youth ministry for boys– teaching godly principles.

  • Tutorial Programs for male students with learning differences–ages 10-14. Most people know, or are taught, at an early age, how to process information and develop an organized plan or strategy when confronted with a problem, whether that problem is social, academic, or job related. Others find such cognitive processes quite difficult. Learning disabilities or differences have only recently been recognized as disabilities. This neurological disorder causes difficulty in organizing information received, remembering them, and expressing information and therefore affects a person’s basic function such as reading, writing, comprehension, and reasoning. However, these students with learning disabilities can be taught effective learning strategies that will help them approach tasks more effectively.

Pastor Leo Carter is a Director of Pastoral Services and teaches at-risk males on religion.  He has also taught students with learning difficulties at one of the most prestigious schools in San Diego,  CA.  Tutorial classes for male students are  held at Perfecting Praise Ministries to teach these students techniques on how successfully overcome these processing giants and effectively apply information.

Leadership for the 21st Century  — Leadership Bound -  This program is for teens and adults who desire to work in management.  Pastor Tarran Carter, an Executive Coach, will teach some of the same leadership skills she taught executives and lawyers.

Learning Skills: “To cope with the demands of the 21st century,” the report states, “students need to know more than core subjects. They need to know how to use their knowledge and skills-by thinking critically, applying knowledge to new situations, analyzing information, comprehending new ideas, communicating, collaborating, solving problems, and making decisions.”
