Pastor is an Executive Pastor at Perfecting Praise Ministries (PPM) and wife to her high school sweetheart and Senior Pastor of PPM, Leo Carter. Tarran has two lovely daughters, La’Shorn and Leola. She is also an Executive Coaching Manager and author of her new book “Spiritually Wounded-Spiritually Strong: Victim No More.” A book that will touch the heart of many women.
Tarran has mentored and coached women into success. She is not a novice. Her mission is to teach, preach, and witness healing and deliverance that women from all walks of life are healed from past abuse and pain. Precious Jewels is headed up by a dynamic board of women. These women work along side Pastor Tarran to reinforce her vision as they head up the workshops and services. The goal is restoration a life changing experience for all who attend or become actively involved.

Many have given praise reports that they are guilty but not ashamed for the Lord has delivered them.

My Healing Ointment -Though 2009 was a trying year for me, I did experience some beautiful scenery along the way. At times, the journey was seemly long with bumps, potholes, and repeated turns.
A repeated turn was the loss of a love one. A couple of years ago, I lost my best friend to cancer, and in 2009, I lost my oldest sister to the same disease. In the same year, suddenly a door was shut. At the time, I was doing what I enjoy doing (Executive Coaching Manager/HR Director) and due to the economical climate, I lost my job. This was a place I had never been before. Within the same month, I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my finger. Oh there is more; after going to the doctor and getting my finger treated, specialists tried to diagnose me with possible heart condition, high blood pleasure, and breast cancer. How crazy is that?
Even though I am healed [I never claimed any of the diagnoses], my best friend and sister went on to be with the Lord. Have you ever questioned and asked “What in the world is going on?” Have you ever believed deep in your heart that a love one would pull through, and despite your supplications and prayers, still they closed their eyes to this world?…. New Year’s Resolutions Who can keep them? A New Year’s Resolution is nothing more than a formal expression of opinion or intention; traditionally, a determination to make a firm resolution to do something.
The tradition of the New Year’s Resolution goes all the way back to 153 B.C Janus, a mythical king of early Rome was placed at the head of the calendar. With two faces, Janus could look back on past events and forward to the future. Janus became the ancient symbol for resolutions and many Romans looked for forgiveness from their enemies and also exchanged gifts before the beginning of each year.
Who Can Keep Them - Most of us have made one or two resolutions. Generally, we are enthusiastic in the early months only for our intention to fizzle in later months. I read an article which stated that 74% of women versus 58% of men are less likely to actually keep them. Its conclusion was that some resolutions are just dreams and women dream a little more than men. Ladies, does that mean most of our resolutions or intentions are not reality? Some men would probably say, “Hmmm.” Well, I beg to differ with the concept of resolutions, and dreams not becoming reality.
Would you say that the most popular resolutions are the following?
- Get in shape
- Give up a habit – smoking/drinking/etc
- Get a better education
- Stop cheating
- A closer walk with God – attend church more often
- Buy a house or move

IT’S COMPLICATED – What’s does that exactly mean?
- Is it your relationship (compromised) or, your marital status/climate? Are you married and maybe creeping? Cheating doesn’t pay—you have too much to loose. Eventually, conclave meetings are exposed. Or, have you experienced a relationship collision?
- Is it baby momma drama? Ultimately, there is nothing new under the sun. The first family was crazy (Abraham, Sara, and Hagar – Gen. 16, 21:1-21).
